A Weekend Trip to
the City
Last Saturday, my friends and I went on a trip
to the city. We were very excited about it because we hadn't been to the city
in a long time.
At the train station, I saw Sarah. I was surprised because I didn’t expect to see
her. She asked, "(1) Vacío 1 Do you likeDoes she likeAre you liking the new station?" I
replied, “Yes, it’s much bigger than the old one, (2) Vacío 2 is it?it isn't?isn't it? !” Then, we started talking
about the train ride. "The train was so slow, (3) Vacío 3 Does usually it takeDoes it take usuallyDoes it usually take this long to get to the city?" she asked. I wasn’t sure,
but I thought it was a bit unusual.
When we finally arrived at the city, we
decided to visit a museum. "(4) Vacío 4 Haven't youHave you visitedDid you visit the museum
before?" asked my friend John. I said, "Yes, I’ve been there
once." Then, we bought tickets and entered the museum. Inside, there were
many amazing paintings. "(5) Vacío 5 Who paintedWho did paintedWho was painted this one?"
Sarah asked, pointing to a famous painting. I told her that it was by Van Gogh.
Later, we went to a café to have some lunch.
"(6) Vacío 6 You don't wantDon't you wantNo you want to sit outside?" John asked. I said,
"No, let's sit inside. It's too hot outside." While we were eating,
we had a funny conversation. "He doesn't talk that much (7) Vacío 7 does he?he doesn't?doesn't he? " I asked Sarah. She laughed and said, "That's true!"
After lunch, we decided to walk around the
city. "(8) Vacío 8 Where was it boughtWhere do I buyWhere did you buy that hat?" Sarah asked
me. I told her I got it from a small shop near the museum. "(9)
Vacío 9 Do you thinkDon't thinkYou think we will have time to visit the park?" John asked. I
wasn't sure, but I said, “Maybe, if we hurry.”
At the end of the
day, we were all tired but happy. As we were waiting for the train back home,
Sarah said, "You enjoyed the trip, (10) Vacío 10 did you?don't you?didn't you? " I smiled
and said, “Yes, it was wonderful! We should do this again soon.” We were all
exhausted, but it was a great day.
