Strategy Tip
In Section 2 of the listening test you often need to complete gaps in the task with missing words or phrases. A great strategy to deal with such tasks is to try to forecast what kind of information you expect to hear.
Read the flow chart about a traditional dessert with apples and blackberries, and think about which words or phrases might go in the gaps. To help you a little, gap 5 will take the phrase '2 ingredients together'.
