OPTION A: Write a description of an interesting or unusual place you have visited on holidays. Include some of these details:
where it is located.
why you think it’s special.
some examples or an anecdote to support your opinion.
any story you know about the place.
the type of people you might meet there.
the atmosphere (e.g. peaceful, lively).
OPTION B: Write an email about an amazing or unbelievable event you have witnessed. Write about:
what took place and when.
what your reaction was.
what other people’s reactions were in comparison with yours.
how you think the media handled it.
whether or not you think the story is entirely true.
OPTION C: You have recently come across an old teacher you had in school. You haven’t seen him/her for a long time. Write a message to him/her, including some of these details and/or your own ideas:
explain where you first met
some anecdotes to help your teacher remember
names of other people that you both know
ask about recent events in his/her life
