A great trip to London!
Is there a lot to do in London? Yes, there is! Look at these six great
ideas for a fantastic day out.
1. Buy a travel card and take the Underground (called
the Tube). There’s a big underground
train system in London, with 12 train lines. One of the Underground lines is
about 140 years old!
2. Take a 30 minute flight in the London Eye and see
the wonderful sights of London from 443 feet (130 meters) in the air!
3. Go on a fantastic river boat tour on the Thames. There
are tours every day.
4. Do you want to buy cheap, fashionable clothes? Try one
of the fantastic street markets! There’s a great market for young people in
Camden.
5. Are there any interesting museums? Yes, there are! There
are over 300 museums in London. Visit the Natural History Museum, for example. There’s
a great dinosaur collection there.
6. Do you like music? Go to a concert! There are
different concerts every day with singers and bands from around the world.
