'Once the merger had gone through, I was relieved that there had been no redundancies,' says Lendel. 'I hadn't realised, though, how much loyalty there was to the Truck Ads brand. This impressed me but also worried me as we had wiped away the brand overnight. So I brought in lots of policies to make everyone feel part of the team and then I saw every employee individually to explain the advantages of the merger for them.'
